TWO TREE SAPLINGS PLANTED IN ISRAEL

A whisper of wind
 like music
 through leaves
 blowing fragrant notes of pine and cypress,
 a touch of jasmine, hyssop, sage
 Ephemeral longing twilight
Then warm caresses of sunshine
 And soft rains to fall
 and show grace upon
 This beloved pair of trees
